Starting with January and all along the year 2010, the biggest Romanian bank - BCR will be active in Virtual Bucharest with a replica branch and a series of activities dedicated to the local community.
The virtual branch is positioned right in the Revolution Square and is highly visible to our residents that are interacting daily in the social area. Inside, users can get information about the promotions and products that BCR offers in real life, they can participate to survey and very soon will be able to exchange local currency into L$.

But this is not all…
Scoala de bani (The money school) is another successful programme developed and implemented by BCR together with Rogalski Grigoriu PR last year, an educative contest on financial topics that managed to gather an impressive community on the dedicated social networking platform. The programme will be continued in 2010 and extended also into Second Life. This means that we will hold classes for residents who want to learn to better manage their finances and will reward the best students with substantial prizes in L$. For this project we already prepared an elegant classroom, fully equipped and created a dedicated group where members can stay updated with the schedules and contests.

There will also be a lot of other activities – events, contests and advergames all along the year; our task is to creatively integrate the promotions and product launches of BCR in a relevant and involving manner for the user behind the screen. Beside this, all along the year, BCR will benefit of interactive branding inside the virtual city: video streaming, street mashes and 3D logo on major building in the square.
Year 2010 looks very interesting for Virtual Bucharest!
