Coca-Cola supports the Easter Egg Hunt Advergame in Virtual Bucharest

The Orthodox Easter which will be next Sunday will bring in Virtual Bucharest an extra Egg Hunt for the Romanian residents. Coca-Cola supports this special event and we’ll have hidden eggs with big prizes in Linden Dollars –  10.000 L$, 5.000 L$, 3.000 L$, 1000 L$ and 500 L$.

The contest will start around 7 pm (Romanian time) and residents are required to search all over Virtual Bucharest the hidden eggs. The high value eggs are easy to recognize as they are red and have the Coca-Cola logo on them. Of course they won’t be so easy to find.  Once clicked the egg will deliver the prize and it will “destroy” itself.

From a marketing point of view it is a smart way to use thematic advergames and involve public in a dialog with the brand.  Coca-Cola is a brand loved by youngsters (our public is 36%  between 18-25 years old) and the idea of competition, creative exploring and reward is very appealing to them.

For this event we estimate a trafic of 40-45.000 for the Easter Sunday in Virtual Bucharest, with a peak reaching the maximum capacity of the sim, after 7 pm.

Easter Egg Hunt

We are running a Mega Easter Egg Hunt starting today and lasting till 22 April. Everyday our Easter Bunny will hide eggs containing prizes in money and objects all over Virtual Bucharest sim.  Money prizes go from 1L$ up to 500 L$ per egg, while prizes can be useful objects and avatar enhancements. Try your luck, come to Virtual Bucharest and have fun searching for valuable Easter Eggs.

Residential apartments in Virtual Bucharest

From 1st of February a new challange awaits our Romanian residents.

In co-operation with www.blocuri.com we have designed a set of residential apartments, with a spectacular view over the Revolutiei Square and which will be offered as prizes of a special contest. In short, users need to visit the sponsor’s website, select their favourite real-life project and write a short review about it. The more interesting and original it is, the higher chances to win!

It is an interesting way to do virtual marketing in Second Life – the sponsor uses the creativity of the residents by motivating them to generate relevant content. It practically translates the core values of the business into the virtual world, while the community benefits of a jet-set environment, with all the ingredients of virtual luxury – highly aspirational at the psichological level.
